About Global Entry interviews
Once CBP conditionally approves your Global Entry application, you have to attend a short in-person interview before your membership is issued. The interview takes 10–15 minutes: a CBP officer reviews your travel documents, confirms residency, takes fingerprints, and takes a photo. You can attend any enrollment center — not just the one closest to your home — so booking flexibly across multiple centers can shave months off your wait.
